2008/2009 SEASON DETAILS AGREED - Following the Independent Schools Barbarians committee meeting the shape of the 2008/2009 season has been agreed, although some of the fixtures and the venues have yet to be finally confirmed. Click on the link below for more details: |
| INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS BARBARIANS EXPANSION - The Independent Schools Barbarians are continuing to expand especially in terms of the number of fixtures that the representative side will play. Once again it is planned to play the Irish Exiles as well as a Crawshays Welsh team. Other fixtures are in the pipe line including the possibility of a game against a Cambridge University side, the Scottish Exiles and Richmond Academy. Further details will appear here as things are decided. | |

PREP SCHOOLS BARBARIANS SPONSORSHIP AGREED - The Independent Schools Barbarians committee are extremely grateful to 118118 who have generous agreed to continue sponsoring the Independent Schools Barbarians over the next three seasons. Without their support the expansion of this venture would not be possible. |

KIT DEAL AGREED WITH ORION SPORTS - The Independent Schools Barbarians committee are delighted that Orion Teamwear, run by ex-Scottish international Richard Metcalfe, have agreed to continue supporting the Independent Schools Barbarians this season after supplying us with their excellent kit during the 2007/2008 season. Orion have kindly agreed to make a donation to The Schools Barbarians for every school that orders from them that is associated with The Schools Barbarians. Due to this we would very much encourage you to have a look at the excellent products and competitive prices that they can offer. Orion have also agreed to set up a Schools Barbarians Kit Shop for us so that players and supporters can buy many different items of Independent Schools Barbarians kit. Orion will soon be launching this shop and also their new range of products which will cover all sports and not just rugby! |

BALL SPONSORSHIP AGREED WITH PIRANHA RUGBY - The Independent Schools Barbarians committee are delighted that Piranha Rugby, a new endeavour born out of Hawkinsport & Son, have agreed to continue supporting the Independent Schools Barbarians by providing them with all of our match balls. These balls were first used last season for the inaugural Prep Schools Barbarians games and we can firmly endorse them a truly excellent pieces of kit. |
